The short version: Ted and I met in 2006. Married in 2007. Traveled the world a bit while working with Youth With A Mission, came back and started a family. We’ve since had 4 beautiful kiddos (5 and under) and hope to have at least 1-2 more of little ones of our own as well as adopting in the future. We are currently living in Colorado where Ted is working his bum off to help us pursue our greatest dreams. Our hearts long for community, and to live a more simple, yet meaningful life. While we work to pursue this goal, we hope to create a beautiful home and family environment where anyone and everyone feels welcomed. My ministry and passion is mommahood right now. I’m humbled and thankful to be home with them currently.
Oh this man…
He is many things but mostly a man with a big heart and even bigger dreams. I love this about him and hope our boys end up just like him.
Simply put he’s best man alive (okay, I’m still a little smitten ;)
(No, Ted does not colour his hair. This is a FAQ so I thought I’d clear the air :))
Me – summed up over yonder.
Chaseyboy is our curious but cautious one. Very imaginative and creative, full of life and joy. He is also a very sensitive soul like his momma – which I absolutely adore and simultaneously think “aw shucks, poor boy!”.
Our sweet Eisley-girl passed away when I was 7 months pregnant. She died September 14th, 2010 and was born after 3 long, terrible days of labor on September 17th, 2010. She was perfect and beautifully made. She had her momma’s nose and her daddy’s big lips. She was stunning. Our hearts ache and we miss her everyday.
We love you our Sweet Eisley. Your little life changed ours for the better and your legacy will live on….
Shai is our little brave, daring and mischievous one. The one who throws caution to the wind and goes for it, even if it means getting hurt or givin’ his momma a heart attack!
Everly Selah – February 28th, 2014
Ever… oh my word, she’ll steal your heart. She’s just precious, she brings joy and hope to our lives in tremendous ways! As it turns out, she is just as brave as her brothers! Our fearless little wild flower.
